So it's not been a good week for me.
Okay, so before you go all Boo you whore on me, I really am. It's not fun, as I have to take the most disgusting cough medicine in the world and even though I have so much to do, all I am doing is sleeping. On the plus side, I've eaten a lot of icecream and slept a lot. And read books. And slept.

Some fantastic books on this pile! If you haven't had a chance to, you HAVE to read Something Like Normal. It was amazing! And I'm looking forward to Poison Princess as well, although I'm a little wary of magic and post-apocalyptic mixed together as genres. But we'll see! :D

Wooo! All these books are packed full of awesomesauce. I love them all! Although I haven't read The Immortal Rules, Silence and On the Jellicoe Road yet, but I cannot wait!! And by the way, this was two weeks worth of books. I know I have an addiction, but still. I'm not that bad! :D
And then to be totally fangirling, I went and saw The Beach Boys on Thursday night who were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING OMG LIKE REALLY REALLY AMAZING. I love oldies music, and the Beach Boys have been my boy band crush since my Dad first played their record for me when I was eight. Take note, One Direction. You've got a long way to go yet!

Aahhhh you saw the Beach Boys! I love them, my dad gave me a cassette tape of them when I was a little kid and I've been a huge fan ever since. Hope you enjoy your books this week!

Something Like Normal is my favourite 2012 release. SO GOOD. On the Jellicoe Road is my favourite book ever. *swoons* I LOVE IT. Confessions of an Angry Girl is such fun! The Hush, Hush series is addictive. I read the first book in 24 hours. I inhaled it. And Patch? SWOON ALERT.

Fabulous new books! I'm so glad that you adored Something Like Normal! I bought it a few weeks ago but haven't read it yet. Now I'm so excited! You also bought so many great books! I love The Immortal Rules! I have yet to read Half-Blood but I've heard great things about it.
